EXPO 2017 focused the world’s attention on Astana, demonstrating the scale of Kazakhstan’s capability and ambition, and the growing sophistication of its capital city.
Central to the EXPO 2017 project is The Museum of the Future. The Museum will build on the legacy and history of Kazakhstan and play a central role in Astana’s emergence as one of the world’s most forward-thinking cities. Our team have developed the concepts for design, content, operations and staff training for the museum. It will be the world’s first museum of the future, considering the future of life, culture and Earth.
The Museum will be a powerful, permanent statement of Kazakhstan’s commitment to investing in its people. Its most important role will be in educating and inspiring generations of young Kazakhs to pursue science-based further studies and careers, whilst also committing to involving the wider population in the science that will shape their lives and their country’s future.
