A dedicated family gallery designed to encourage children and their parents to explore the fascinating history of Britain’s iconic postal service.
The Postal Museum and Mail Rail will be a new, 186,000 visitor-a-year national museum and attraction, charting five fascinating centuries of Britain’s social and communications history as seen through the eyes of the iconic postal service.
Through curious items and personal stories of endeavor and ingenuity, the museum will showcase the vital role the postal service has played in shaping the country, and world, we live in today, and how it paved the way for instant communication.
Our team are designing a dedicated family gallery. Packed full of interaction and discovery the gallery will encourage children and their parents to learn and play together.
Children will be able to explore a series of miniature environments or themed play-spaces which reference the Postal Museum’s collection.
